Edit JJ Day
I want to apologise for the poor quality of the video. I just thought I could see what this clever Heather Keily was doing when I got home. Her roses were magnificent.
The second lady is Jenni Ford and she taught us how to experiment with gold underlay. So looking forward to giving that a go.
The third lady is Leoni Marsh and she taught us the beauty of monograms. Excellent!

Jolly July Day 2011
Jolly July Day at Hornsby is an annual event put on by the Australian APAT Group.
It is just the best day. For $25 you get morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea door prizes and three porcelain demonstrations by great teachers.
The food is all home made so you have top be careful not to over indulge as it is tempting.
I will upload some of the photos I took on the day.

My latest porcelain piece:)
This is a shot of my latest porcelain piece. I really like this one. I didn't ground the black it has just been sponged on and it was so simple.
Can't wait to start my next project and finish my blue blossom one too.

Rachel's going to Sheffield University:)
Thought I would drop[ in a picture of the card I made for our granddaughter Rachel as she heads of to Sheffield University in the UK.
Don't know what I have done but the label is on it's side and I couldn't get it to turn:)

I can't get used to this new format... I have been a bit slack lately, I think my brain is feeling the cold.
Made cards for Abby and Pam and Georgia yesterday so maybe things are looking up.
I purchased a brayer yesterday(hoping this gives me some incentive!) and now I have to have a play with it. trouble is I only have a few stamp pads so my colours are limited.
Maybe I need to purchase one colour a week till I have a stash.
I will upload some photos now and then it's back to the craft room:)

This is all so different-when did this happen?
I have lost my mojo at present and so have not been publishing my doings as there were none... And now all this on my blog is so different.
Anyway I have managed to start a couple of cards today but have not the necessary coloured ribbons to go on so will have to wait until I get to the shops for more supplies:) I will post some photos soon but the computer is about to close down so until then...
